Our guest of honour, Juliet Marillier was born and raised in Aotearoa New Zealand, and now lives in a 120-year-old house in Perth. Her historical fantasy novels and short stories are published internationally and have won numerous awards. She is the author of twenty-four novels and two collections of short fiction. Juliet loves mythology, folklore and strong, complex characters.
Our fan guest, Pauli Kidd has been a wargamer and RPG gamer since the mid 1970’s, and has spent lifetime as a games designer and author. She is the creator of role playing games such as Albedo, Lace and Steel and a host of others, as well as many games campaigns, settings and adventures. A prolific author, her works include novels for Dungeons & Dragons and Gammaworld. She has more than 40 SF and fantasy novels in print.
