The City is calling for community input to help shape the new Morley Station precinct.
Feedback gathered from the community will inform the development of the City’s Morley Station Precinct Structure Plan, which will guide the development and transformation of the area surrounding the new Morley Train Station.
The plan will include what the future of the area will look like, including types of buildings, how the land will be used, how many people will live there, and what important facilities will be included.
As part of the initial community engagement, the City hosted two workshops to hear residents’ feedback on what they’d like to see included in the plan.
Information and feedback provided at these workshops then informed a number of principles for development within the Morley Station precinct.
Community members are now invited to review and indicate their level of support for these principles by completing a survey before 5pm, Friday 3 May.
Hard copies of the survey are available from the Civic Centre and the City’s three libraries.
