Draft Skate and BMX Strategy open for comment
Apr 22 2024

A draft City of Bayswater Skate and BMX Strategy is now open for comment.

Community members are invited to provide feedback on the draft strategy, which aims to identify the need for skate, scooter and BMX infrastructure and guide the City in planning for the future.

The draft strategy was developed using community feedback and input from the City’s Skate and Bike Development Advisory Committee.

The strategy is an action within the City’s Community Recreation Plan 2022-2032.

Earlier this month, the City opened the Bayswater BMX and Mountain Bike Facility under the Mooro-Beeloo Bridge, constructed by Main Roads WA as part of the Tonkin Gap Project.

To view the draft strategy and complete the online survey, visit Engage Bayswater. Hard copies are available at the City's Civic Centre and three libraries.

Submissions close Sunday 12 May.
