Free outdoor movie night in Noranda.
As part of the City's commitment to bring vibrancy and activity to our town centres, we're holding a free outdoor movie night in Noranda on Saturday evening 9 March. More than 400 people helped choose the movie by voting on the City's Facebook page. The popular Incredibles 2 was the overwhelming favourite, sure to be a crowd pleaser for all ages.
I encourage you to bring the family, pack a picnic and enjoy a fun evening under the stars at Robert Thompson Reserve. There will be an array of exciting food trucks to choose from, or why not support a local business by picking up dinner at a restaurant or eatery nearby?
The movie will screen at sundown but I encourage you to arrive early, settle in to your spot and enjoy the free pre-movie entertainment and activities for children kicking off from 5pm. And of course, there will be popcorn, with a limited number of free servings on offer.
