| Description | The City of Bayswater (the City) is a medium sized metropolitan local government located approximately 8km east of the Perth CBD. The City includes the suburbs of Noranda, Morley, Embleton, Bedford, Bayswater, Maylands and a small portion of Mount Lawley. The City has responsibility for managing approximately 30,000 trees across the suburbs shown in the map overleaf. For operational purposes, the suburbs are designated into zones 1 – 7. The City is now seeking to award a tender for target pruning, removal of public trees as required and grinding of stumps for a period of three years, with two options for extension of one year each. The work will consist of street, median, park, and pathway trees, and trees on City owned property. A separate contract applies to the pruning of street trees under low voltage power lines. |
