The City of Bayswater is hosting its seventh Have A Go Day on Sunday, 9 April at The RISE in Maylands.
The free, community event promotes social inclusion and encourages people of all abilities to 'Have a Go' at new activities.
"Ensuring that all of our City's residents feel included and have access to a wide range of social, cultural and recreational opportunities is important in building a strong and cohesive community," Mayor Barry McKenna said.
"There will be over 40 local groups, clubs and organisations attending on the day to showcase what's on offer within our City; there will be something of interest for everyone to try.
"I want to extend an invitation to absolutely everyone within the City, and I would especially like to welcome those who may not have attended this event before."
Activities on offer will range from belly dancing to drama, rowing to lacrosse and many more.
"It is a great opportunity for residents to become more connected to their local community and find a club, group or organisation that is a perfect fit for their active interests," Mayor McKenna added.
"We want to ensure that everyone feels included regardless of age, ability or background."
The event will also feature food vendors, musical entertainment, prizes and range of activities including a climbing wall, inflatable amusements and face painting.
The Have a Go Day is being run in partnership with Inclusion WA.
