Councillor Column - Free training for clubs and community groups

Posted on January 22, 2019

Are you part of an environmental, sporting, not-for-profit, or community group in the local area? The City's new Community Upskillers program offers free workshops to help make your club or group even stronger. From Facebook marketing to conflict resolution, you will find a workshop focusing on the skills you need.

One of our most popular workshops, 'Get that Grant', is taking place on Wednesday 27 February from 6pm. If your community organisation has a brilliant idea, but need some financial help to get it off the ground, this session is for you. You will learn how to write a winning grant application and find out more about the City's Better Bayswater Grant opening in March.

We're fortunate to have so many active clubs and groups in the City of Bayswater, contributing to a positive and well-connected community. We want to see these groups continue to thrive, so I encourage you to take advantage of these free sessions. Find more information and register to attend on the City's Facebook page.
