Riverside Gardens is located on the river foreshore in Bayswater, accessible from Milne St and King William St. The reserve is adjacent to Hinds Reserve and Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary, with large grassed areas that are popular with many park users for dog exercise, children's play, community events and social gatherings. The park provides an enclosed dog exercise area, as well as off lead and on lead areas, gazebos, seating, barbecues and public toilets.

- Dogs allowed off lead in the designated areas within Riverside Gardens East.
Important Reserve Information
- City approval is required for the following items on a reserve - Boucy castle, commercial marquees, structures, entertainment, food/coffee vans, animals farms etc. If you would like to bring any of these mentioned items, please contact the City's Booking Officer.
- No booking is required for gatherings, picnics or social events without any of the above equipment
- Standard 3m x 3m marquee with pegs/stakes less than 15cm or smaller pop up marquees are allowed without prior approval
- No consumption or sale of alcohol in a public space
