Services to support youth

If you need support, advice or just someone to talk to about a life problem, there are many organisations dedicated to providing support for young people.

Mental Health

Youth Focus is a WA-based not-for-profit organisation aiming to put a stop to youth suicide and depression. Their website has tips, activities and online support to promote positive mental health.

Youth Legal Support

Homelessness/Accommodation Services

Youth Accommodation Services (YASS) supports young people aged 15-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Act Belong Commit

The City of Bayswater is committed to supporting positive mental health and wellbeing within the community, and has partnered with Mentally Healthy WA to promote the Act Belong Commit health campaign.

Mentally Healthy WA, based at Curtin University, has a webpage containing links to many helpful resources, including apps, books, guided meditations, magazines, online courses, podcasts and videos, to name a few. Click on the link below to discover more.
