What is the Ambassador Program The award-winning Age Friendly Ambassador program was developed to ensure older community members are connected to information, programs and services, and have a meaningful voice on local community issues. The program empowers volunteers to become local leaders and information specialists within the City of Bayswater.
The inaugural program was established in April 2019 and has since grown to include volunteers from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about supporting older adults.
The City is seeking to recruit volunteers for the Age Friendly Ambassador program running from April 2026 until March 2027.
