2026 Community Citizen of the Year Awards
The City of Bayswater has a strong and connected community thanks, in part, to those dedicated to improving the lives of others.
The Community Citizen of the Year Awards recognise outstanding contributions people living or working in City have made towards the local community.
Community members can be nominated for the following awards presented in partnership with Auspire.
- Community Citizen of the Year
- Young Community Citizen of the Year (16 – 30 years)
- Senior Community Citizen of the Year (over 65 years)
- Active Citizenship (community group)
Nominations for the 2026 Community Citizen of the Year Awards are now open and close 4pm Friday 31 October.

The City of Bayswater also invites you to recognise the outstanding acheivement of women in the Bayswater community by nominating individuals for the City's Women in Leadership Award.

Winners will be announced at the City's Community Citizenship Ceremony on Monday 26 January 2026.
