Recruiting for the Youth Advisory Council

Young people living, studying or working in the City of Bayswater are invited to join the City’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) to learn new skills and help deliver projects for young people aged 12 to 25.

The YAC is a 12-month leadership program, where participants meet on the second Tuesday of each month to co-design and plan an event or project for other young people in the City to enjoy.

Along the way, you will:

  • Build your confidence and leadership skills
  • Be mentored by industry professionals
  • Learn how decisions are made
  • Grow your project and event management toolkit
  • Collaborate with other young changemakers
  • Create something your community will remember

If you’re ready to build your skills and make your mark on the community, get in touch with us to find out more.

Email yac@bayswater.wa.gov.au to express your interest.
