Come help the City and our volunteer Friends groups to protect and enhance the natural biodiversity within the City of Bayswater

2025 Planting Dates

Help protect and enhance the natural biodiversity in our City by taking part in a community planting day.

Planting days take place from 9am to 12pm, with trowels, gloves and morning tea provided.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, as well as sturdy footwear (gumboots are useful if you have them), a raincoat, hat and water bottle.

Please be aware there may not be toilet facilities at certain sites.

The City’s community planting days are funded by the Australian Government's Urban Rivers and Catchments Program and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions through the Swan Canning Riverpark Urban Forest Program and the Community Rivercare Program.
