    OVERVIEW

Have you ever wondered what’s involved in bulk food shopping? Are you interested in cutting down on waste, reducing excess packaging, shopping more sustainably and creating a pantry that is inspiring to cook and eat from? Look no further!

Join the City of Bayswater and Laura Monisse for an engaging session on bulk food shopping and learn practical strategies you can implement for a better pantry and the planet.

    Together, we'll explore:

    • The issues of excess packaging and waste
    • The benefits of bulk food shopping
    • What items you can buy in bulk and where you can shop for them
    • How to get set-up or enhance your bulk food shopping routine
    • What a trip to the bulk food store involves
    • Tips and tricks to create an organised, systemised pantry
    • Finding inspiration to cook and eat from your pantry at home

This will be an interactive session. You'll have the opportunity to share your experiences, learn from fellow participants, and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to reduce excess packaging and shop in a more conscious, connected way!

This workshop is facilitated by sustainability educator and yoga teacher Laura Moniss. With a background in Population Health, Integrated Design, Waste Management and Adult Education, Laura brings her expertise and experience to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
