Programs and Events

The libraries run a range of free programs and events for all ages. Follow the City of Bayswater Libraries on Eventbrite to be the first to know about our events.

Effective 5 December 2020, all visitors to the City of Bayswater Libraries will be required to provide their contact details to assist with mandatory contact tracing requirements.  The easiest way to do this is by using the Safe WA app.  If you are unable to register with the app, please see staff so your details can be manually recorded. Please allow enough time before your program or event to check in.

If you have any questions, please contact your local library.

Children's Programs and Events

We are welcoming families back to live Rhymetime, Toddler Time and Storytime sessions in the libraries.

To keep everyone safe, our children’s programs will look a little bit different for a while.

  • Physical distance of at least 1.5m between family groups will need to be maintained.
  • Activity spaces will have limited capacity so come early to avoid missing out on a place.
  • In the event that the first session fills up, additional sessions will be run afterward to accommodate families that missed out.
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided at each session and if cushions are used they will be disinfected between sessions.
  • A take home craft will be given out after each Storytime session.
  • As always, if you or your child is feeling unwell please stay at home.
