Alice in Wonderland Storytime withe the WA Ballet

Leap and twirl, dance and swirl! The loveable characters of 'Alice in Wonderland' come to life through movement and dance in this special storytime session with WA Ballet.

West Australian Opera Wesfarmers Arts Make-up Workshop

Be completely immersed in this practical, hands on workshop. Become a dragon, a glamourous princess or someone who has just fallen off a skateboard. A professional, industry make-up artist will demonstrate stagecraft techniques in the creation of a character including basic stage make-up, bruising and blood. Then it’s over to you to design your own character and bring it to life by experimenting with the variety of make-up products available.

NB: Make-up products not recommended for children with sensitive skin.

Stretchy Stories

Get Writing! with Meg Caddy

Kick start National Novel Writing Month with Meg Caddy. Meg will help you brainstorm and start writing your novel, poem or short story in an interactive workshop.

Continue your writing on Tuesdays throughout November when the activity room will be available for young writers to use. Milo and biscuits provided. All completed writing projects will be collated and available to read in the library from December.
