Have a Go Day is a chance to experience the variety of sports, activities, clubs and groups on offer locally – all in one place. It's about connecting people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds with an activity they will enjoy.
Have a Go Day is on Sunday 14 April, from 10am to 1pm at The RISE in Maylands. You can 'have a go' at more than 40 interactive stalls, plus enjoy entertainment, food, prizes, a climbing wall, face painting, and more. From rowing to origami, there really is something for everyone.
You will also hear from inspirational Have a Go Day ambassador, Kylie Wheeler, about her experience as an elite heptathlete. Kylie represented Australia in the Athens and Beijing Olympics, and I'm sure her story will inspire up-and-coming sportspeople in our community.
