Young people in the heart of the inner east will have the chance to learn a range of new skills this July as part of the City of Bayswater’s How to Adult program.

Aimed at preparing young people for the future, the free sessions focus on education, employment, wellness and independence.

City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said that young people are set for an exciting future in Bayswater and these workshops are all part of preparing them for what’s ahead.

“This school holidays local 12 – 25 year olds can complete a barista course, get up to scratch on their first aid essentials, perfect the art of cupcake decorating and even learn to DJ.

“There are so many different career pathways available to young people these days. The diverse range of sessions on offer are designed to provide young people with experiences that could ignite the passion in them and potentially lead to a fulfilling career or part-time job.
