National singing superstar Dami Im will take the stage at Pat O’Hara Reserve in Morley for a powerhouse performance as part of a free, not-to-be-missed community concert for all ages.
The City of Bayswater Community Concert will take place from 6 to 9pm on Saturday 4 February, with WA’s own ‘future queen of Australian country’ Siobhan Cotchin getting the party started before the X Factor Australia winner and Eurovision songbird takes centre stage.
City of Bayswater Mayor Filomena Piffaretti said the City of Bayswater Community Concert is the highlight of the City’s events calendar.
“I’m delighted the City has been able to secure an international superstar like Dami Im to perform at the City of Bayswater Community Concert,” she said.
“It’s not every day you can watch a pop icon perform in your own backyard, so I’m incredibly proud that this unforgettable, free event is taking place right here in Morley.
“We look forward to bringing families and friends together for a memorable night of hit music.”
Crowds of thousands are expected to attend the highly anticipated event, after last year’s concert was postponed due to WA border closures.
“The community has been eagerly awaiting this event since last year. It will certainly be a night to remember,” said Mayor Piffaretti.
Concert goers can grab a bite to eat at one of the fabulous restaurants in Morley’s town centre before the show, or enjoy a tasty snack from one of the food vans onsite.
Walking, riding or catching public transport to this event is encouraged, as limited parking will be available at Pat O’Hara Reserve. There will be designated seating areas for picnic rugs and chairs. The City of Bayswater Community Concert is an alcohol-free event.
The City of Bayswater acknowledges Lotterywest as a major supporter of the Community Concert with Dami Im. The event is also presented with the support of Channel 9 and 9News.
