Maylands Peninsula Golf Course has unveiled its $4 million clubhouse redevelopment following its official opening on 1 November.

Last year, the City announced TenGolf Group as the new operator of the Maylands Peninsula and Embleton Golf Courses, with the company committing to invest in the redevelopment of the new Maylands clubhouse.

City of Bayswater Mayor Filomena Piffaretti said the redevelopment will broaden the appeal of the venue.

“The impressive upgrades include a new bar, restaurant, alfresco dining area, function room, bathrooms, change facilities, cart shed, kitchen and pro shop. This will attract the wider community to visit the refurbished venue for new contemporary food and beverage offerings as well as provide golfers great facilities to complement their game,” she said.

“The modern facility now features an expanded outdoor dining area that overlooks the golf course, making it the perfect place for families and friends to gather to relax, play, eat and exercise all in the one space.

“I would like to thank and congratulate TenGolf Group on the successful refurbishment of the much-loved community golf course.”

Director of TenGolf Group, Sam Lee said that his team are proud to deliver a modern facility to golfers and the local community.

“We’re thrilled to enhance the golfing experience for our members and visitors through the completion of this significant redevelopment,” he said.

“We hope the new facilities will bring many years of enjoyment to visitors, whilst also contributing to the local area.”
