City seeks feedback to upgrade play spaces
Feedback will inform the City’s upcoming redevelopment of play spaces at local reserves.
The City is inviting the community to have their say on play spaces across eight parks and reserves as part of its annual Play Space Redevelopment Program.
Until 4 March, community members can provide feedback on the style of play equipment, soft fall material and shade options they would like to see at:
- Battersea Reserve, Morley
- Flora Reserve, Bayswater
- Gobba Lake, Bayswater
- Ivory Park, Noranda
- Kennedy Reserve, Morley
- RA Cook Reserve, Bedford
- Rhodes Reserve, Morley
- Toowong Reserve, Bayswater
Works are scheduled to commence in May/June 2024, with completion expected by July 2024.
The Play Space Redevelopment Program aims to create vibrant, inclusive play spaces for all ages, fostering dynamic engagement and enhancing overall functionality.
The City is committed to continually maintaining and improving its reserves and facilities for the local community.
To provide feedback, visit Engage Bayswater. Submissions close 5pm, Monday 4 March.
